I started my career in childcare 40 years ago when I completed the Nursery Nurse course. I ventured into nannying as I preferred working in a home situation rather than a classroom.
I have worked with children of all ages from newborn to 12 years, often helping families bringing home a new sibling. I began focusing mainly on newborns 30 years ago, working as a Maternity Nurse. I have worked with many families with their first, second, third and even fourth babies.
I've helped babies with reflux, allergies, special needs, premature and low birth weight babies. Twins & triplets!
Having worked with many age ranges, I have been able to offer lots of advice, hints and tips for new parents. This can help them not just through the first few weeks but putting in good practices for the years ahead.
